Oh mate, the hot sarnies at Potbank Cafe hit the spot! Found some lovely local bites nearby, like Jalfrezi – their curries are a grand shout! The vibe of the Double Suite was spot on, spacious and perfect for a solo explorer like me.
But, blimey, it was a bit of a head-scratch trying to check in, and those steep stairs could trip up anyone with dodgy knees. the shower door was a right squeeze for a fella of my size. the character of the place shone through the little hiccups.

Quirky industrial charm with spacious accommodations
I really enjoyed my stay! The Double Suite was large and had a well-stocked kitchenette, making it feel like my own apartment. The industrial aesthetic added a unique character to the place, and the strong Wi-Fi was a great bonus for relaxing after a busy day. the check-in process using a key safe box was a bit confusing.

the room was super clean and there was so much space! comfy bed and pillows. The kitchen had all the stuff u need for a short stay. also, it was really peaceful and the shower was fantastic. the location was perfect too, right near the spode museum, which we loved.
checkout was kinda early at 10am and it wouldve been nice to drop off my bag for a few hours. also, parking was a bit of a hassle since the restaurant nearby is popular.

The spacious double suite featured a very comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. The location offered convenient access to both local attractions and eateries, ideal for exploration. the narrow sofa bench could have been more accommodating, and a few additional kitchen utensils would enhance the self-catering options. Enjoying hot wok dishes from nearby restaurants was a delightful aspect of the stay.

Comfortable Stay Despite Some Quirks
Enjoyed my short visit here! The local cuisine at the onsite restaurant was delightful, showcasing the charm of the area. be prepared for some stairs if you're bringing heavy luggage. Consider opting for a room on the lower floor for ease of access.

Couple looking for a solid stay
The staff were great, they really went above and beyond for us, especially the evening security guard. He knew the local area like the back of his hand and offered fantastic recommendations which made our trip a lot better.
Wasn't the cheapest place but for what we got it was okay.

pleasant surprise with apartment layout
We booked for four adults and were pleased to find we received two apartments, which gave us the advantage of two bathrooms. The small kitchenette was a great addition, making it convenient for our short stay.
The city view we hoped for was not as prominent as expected.
